Using skip logic to shorten your survey

Skip logic lets a single-choice or dropdown question end the survey immediately if the respondent picks a specific answer - every later question is skipped, both visually and in what gets validated on submit.

To set it up, add the question, then fill in the Skip logic field with the exact option text that should end the survey (comma-separated if there's more than one, e.g. No, Under 18). The text must match one of the question's own options exactly.

A common use is a screening question at the start - "Have you used our product in the last 30 days?" - where a "No" answer should end the survey rather than asking product-specific follow-ups.

Skip logic requires a plan with the Survey Logic capability. If your survey doesn't need it, later questions are simply asked in order.
